Policies & PDPL
Clear Terms. Responsible Data Handling.
The policies that govern your use of our site, and how we protect personal data in line with Saudi Arabia’s PDPL.
This section brings together our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Cookie Policy, and PDPL Data Subject Rights in one place. We aim for clarity over fine print, so you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, how it’s safeguarded, and the choices available to you when interacting with Pine.sa or submitting inquiries and files.
Overview
Your privacy and trust matter to us. This page consolidates Pine’s legal policies and PDPL-related information, including how we handle personal data, how cookies are used, the terms that govern use of Pine.sa, and the rights available to you under the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
Privacy Policy (PDPL-Aligned)
1. Purpose of this policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Pine collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal data in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
2. What we collect and why
We collect only what we need to respond to your inquiries, deliver contracted services, manage accounts, process payments, and improve our website. Typical data includes contact information, project details, files you upload (e.g., DWG/BoQ), and usage data from our site.
3. Lawful basis and consent
Where consent is required, we request it explicitly; otherwise, our lawful bases include contract performance and legitimate interests such as security and service quality. We do not sell personal data.
4. How we store and protect data
We store data in secure systems with role-based access and safeguard it using technical and organizational controls (encryption in transit, least-privilege access, logging). Retention aligns with the purpose collected and legal requirements; when no longer needed, we dispose of data safely.
5. Processors and data transfers
If we engage trusted processors (e.g., hosting or analytics providers), they are bound by confidentiality and PDPL-aligned obligations. International data transfers, if any, use recognized safeguards and are limited to what is necessary to provide the requested services.
6. Your PDPL rights and how we respond
Under PDPL you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, withdraw consent (where applicable), and inquire about processing. We will verify identity for your protection and respond within the timelines permitted by law. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you may escalate using the contact below.
7. Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or operational changes; material updates will be highlighted on this page.
Terms Of Use
1. Acceptance and updates
By accessing pine.sa and any related services, you agree to these Terms. We may update them periodically; the “Last updated” date will indicate the current version.
2. Permitted use
The site is provided for lawful use related to exploring or procuring Pine’s services. You agree not to misuse the site (e.g., interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, or upload harmful code) and not to infringe intellectual property rights.
3. ntellectual property and third-party marks
Content on this site including text, drawings, photos, diagrams, and logos, is owned by Pine or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without written permission. Third-party names and marks (e.g., Atlantis® product names such as Gro-Wall®, Flo-Cell®, Turf Cell®, Titan Tank®) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
4. Disclaimers and liability
Information on the site is provided in good faith for general guidance and does not constitute engineering, legal, or professional advice. Specifications may change; project conditions vary; and final design choices must be validated by qualified professionals and the relevant authority having jurisdiction. To the extent permitted by KSA law, Pine disclaims liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
5. Governing law and venue
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Venue: competent courts in Riyadh, unless another venue is required by applicable procurement rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

PDPL Data Subject Rights (Request Form)
1. Your rights under PDPL
You have rights under the PDPL to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data held by Pine, and, where processing relies on consent, to withdraw that consent.
2. How to submit a request
To exercise these rights, use the PDPL Request Form linked below or email privacy@pine.sa. Please include your full name, organization (if applicable), contact details, and a clear description of your request.
3. Identity verification
For your protection, we will verify identity (e.g., by email or phone challenge) before acting.
4. Controller/processor coordination
If your request concerns data we process on behalf of a client (as a processor), we will inform you and coordinate with the relevant controller as required by law.
5. Timelines and outcomes
Upon a valid request, we will acknowledge receipt and respond within the legally permitted timeframe, subject to any allowable extensions for complex requests. Where we decline a request (e.g., to protect the rights of others, maintain legal privilege, or comply with regulatory obligations), we will explain the reason unless prohibited by law.
6. Fees
Requests are generally free of charge; however, a reasonable fee may be charged for repetitive or manifestly unfounded requests as permitted by PDPL.
7. Portability, deletion, and retention
For portability requests, we will provide the data in a commonly used format where technically feasible. Where deletion is requested, we will remove or irreversibly anonymize personal data unless we must retain it to comply with law, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
8. Escalation and complaints
If you are dissatisfied, you can escalate to our Data Protection contact or lodge a complaint with the competent authority. We are committed to resolving concerns fairly and promptly.
